The Skagit ETW, AED, and DMW series mooring winches are specifically designed for mooring offshore vessels. The units are available as single and double drum in side-by-side and waterfall configuration. Wire rope lead can be horizontal or vertical.
The winches, as standard, are powered by a G.E. traction motor (or equal) driving through a two-speed gearbox. The winches are furnished with spring-set, air-released band-type drum brakes and air-actuated drum pawls. |

Optional water-cooled dynamic brakes and sheave-type levelwinds are available.
Local controls with tension, speed and length readouts and remote emergency release command feature are standard. Remote control system available upon request.
